Hope in the face of suicide

Suicide is a modern epidemic which is much talked about but often fills us with despair at the thought that nothing much can be done to prevent it. The modern lifestyle fools us into thinking that to be happy we must be successful and have things to make us happy. We think when I get the perfect job, or house or relationship then I’ll be happy. but unfortunately, the world doesn’t work that way. You need to be happy with yourself first and foremost but how do we do it? I would like to share Dain’s story as an example of someone seriously contemplating suicide and how he was able to turn it around. EFT Tapping and Access Consciousness Tools – a powerful combination.

Often, we are taught tools or techniques that may help us but how often do we actually use them? We forget them after a time, then we think – how do I do that again? However, if we take tools in their simplest form and combine them with other simple energetic techniques we create a heightened synergy and then we create something greater as if by magic. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a simple process of tapping on various end points of meridians on our face, torso and hands and is combined with affirmations and repeated verbal phrases.  Access Consciousness uses loads of tools – but one of the simplest is asking questions. When we ask a question without the aim of answering it, it opens us up to other possibilities in our life.
